Helena Regina Fonseca Coelho
Helena is a specialist in the practical application of ANP’s R&D Regulations, with extensive experience supporting the management of R&D projects in the oil & gas sector. She holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UFF, a master’s degree from PUC-Rio, and a specialization in Systems Analysis and Process Modelling.
Since 2017, Helena has been a managing partner and senior consultant at Inovatus Consultoria. She oversees regulatory compliance for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with ANP's R&D Regulations. Her work also includes designing strategic planning frameworks, identifying new R&D opportunities, and supporting fundraising efforts.
Earlier in her career, Helena worked as a consultant and researcher at the Energy Institute of PUC-Rio, where she led studies on international technical standardization and evaluated the potential of photovoltaic solar energy in Brazil. At ONIP, she managed R&D projects focused on the oil & gas supply chain and local content analysis for PETROBRAS, and served as Technical Secretary of the Brazilian standardization committee.
Yiannis Chanis
Yiannis is a seasoned manager with over 20 years of experience in R&D project management, with a strong focus on the oil & gas and energy industries. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBE in Energy from PUC-Rio. He is also a certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
Since 2017, Yiannis has been a managing partner and senior consultant at Inovatus Consultoria, where he provides both strategic and hands-on support in R&D project management, including risk assessment and the implementation of R&D best practices.
Earlier in his career, Yiannis worked as a consultant and researcher at the Energy Institute of PUC-Rio, conducting research in solar energy and the energy transition. From 2011 to 2017, he managed R&D projects and project controls at CompactGTL, representing the company and coordinating technical exchanges during its commercial demonstration project in Brazil, while also supporting business development efforts in the region.
Diogo Colão
Diogo is a Project and Process Specialist with extensive experience in project management for medium and large companies in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors. Holds a degree in Business Administration from PUC-Rio, a postgraduate degree in Executive Management of Oil and Natural Gas, and a specialization in Project Management.
Since 2024, Diogo has been working as a Project Manager at Inovatus, where he provides hands-on support for R&D projects. In his previous experience as a consultant, he led numerous supplier development projects, integrating over 200 companies into the production chain of major industries. He also worked on strategies for fundraising and Go-To-Market execution, as well as client acquisition and optimization (Farmer and Hunter) for various companies.
Luis Fernando Frutuoso Mendonca
Luis is an experienced consultant with decades of expertise in the oil & gas sector, known for his leadership in R&D and supply chain management at PETROBRAS. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UERJ, a Law degree from FBCJ, and an executive postgraduate degree from IBMEC.
Since 2017, Luis has been a senior consultant at Inovatus Consultoria, where he advises companies on stakeholder management and best practices in R&D contracting, with a focus on the integration and development of technology suppliers in Brazil. He also works with the Energy Institute of PUC-Rio, managing R&D projects in renewable energy and teaching courses on Supply Chain Management.
Earlier in his career, Luis served as Superintendent at ONIP, where he managed R&D projects and supplier development initiatives. At PETROBRAS, he held leadership roles in quality, safety, and procurement, including serving as president of Petronect, the company’s online procurement platform.
Ricardo Nazareth Muniz
Ricardo is an Undergraduate in Environmental Engineering from UFRJ. During his academic exchange at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), in France, he had the opportunity to deepen his studies in innovation projects that sought adaptations to climate change and decarbonization.
Since 2024, he has worked as an intern supporting project management and organizational planning. With experience in data analysis and environmental management, he seeks to contribute to innovation paths that promote the energy transition through technological development.
